Sport cars come with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED front and rear lights and special sound-deadening glass as standard, alongside heated leather front seats, an electric opening bootlid and a 10-speaker stereo system. You also get a dual-screen infotainment system with haptic feedback functions, smartphone mirroring and satellite navigation as standard. Cruise control comes as standard, but you have to pay extra if you want Audi’s range of additional driver assistance features or the eye-catching Virtual Cockpit digital driver’s display.

S Line cars come with a few sporty features you won’t find on more affordable versions, including redesigned bumpers, larger 19-inch alloy wheels and contrasting red stitching on the leather and Alcantara-trimmed heated front seats. You also get sports suspension as standard alongside cruise control, LED front and rear lights, brushed aluminium interior trim and S Line badging on the steering wheel, seats and door sills. The same dual-screen infotainment system with haptic feedback, smartphone mirroring and sat nav comes as standard, but you’ll have to pay extra for Audi’s Virtual Cockpit digital driver’s display. Audi’s range of driver assistance systems also cost extra.

The Audi A6 Avant Black Edition has lots of black bits. Namely, the grilles, mirrors, roof rails and window trim. The wheels are 20 inches in diameter, there's privacy glass and, inside, you'll find a premium BOSE surround speaker.

Over the Black Edition, the top-of-the-range A6 Vorsprung model gets 21-inch alloys, dynamic all-wheel steering, adaptive air suspension and a panoramic sunroof. Inside there are super sports seats, Audi's Technology pack (MM1 Navigation Plus, Virtual Cockpit and wireless charging for your mobile) and a Bang & Olufsen sound system. There's some extra safety kit too, in the form of a City Assist Pack that should prevent accidents.
