Entry-level Active Premium models come with a reasonably basic level of standard features, but are still well-equipped. You get 16-inch alloy wheels, manual air conditioning, rear parking sensors, a digital instrument display and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Allure Premium models gain a 3D-effect digital instrument display, as well as a configurable head-up display. You’ll also get a 180-degree rear parking camera at this trim level. Otherwise, it’s the same as the Allure specification, so you get 16-inch alloys, automatic air conditioning, privacy glass and automatic windscreen wipers among other features.

Jump up to GT specification and your 208 will come as standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, smart-looking gloss black wheel arch extensions and window surrounds, and a blacked-out front grille. Other features include a larger 10-inch touchscreen with connected satellite navigation and TomTom traffic updates; a height-adjustable passenger seat; blind-spot monitoring and full LED headlights.

Range-topping GT Premium models gain keyless entry and start, along with adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist systems. The front seats are also heated at this level, and are upholstered in Alcantara and cloth fabrics. You also get a new design of 17-inch alloy. Otherwise, it’s closely related to the GT model: so you get 10-inch touchscreen, blind-spot monitoring and full LED headlights.
