Mazda CX-5 Prices and Specifications

The SE-L model comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and LED headlights, so it's pretty well equipped, even though GT Sport trim is more popular.

The Newground trim builds upon the standard car’s spec with aesthetic flourishes like new 19-inch alloy wheels, black wing mirror covers and silver trim on the side sills. Black part-faux leather seats are included on this spec, too, which also come with heating controls to keep you toasty during colder spells.

Despite this trim’s name, the Sport Edition does little to make the Mazda CX-5 more dynamic to drive. It does come with quite a few extras over the less expensive models, though: highlights include power-adjustable front seats, a reversing camera and keyless entry.

The mid-range CX-5 Sport comes with Mazda’s standard-issue 8in infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility. It also comes with 19in wheels, heated leather seats, power tailgate, reversing camera, keyless entry, tilt/slide sunroof and a 10-speaker Bose stereo.

As its name suggests, the Sport Black Edition is very closely related to the Sport Black trim – in fact, all of the kit you’ll get on that spec can be found on Sport Black Edition cars. This trim does come with a few extra gadgets, though, namely the premium sound system and wireless recharging tray for your smartphone.

This version of the Mazda CX-5 comes with all the features you’ll find on Sport models, so it comes as standard with a reversing camera, leather seats and a head-up display unit. In addition, there are lots of black colour choices inside and out, ranging from the 19-inch alloys and glossy black trim around the front grille to the black trim on the headlining and seats.

Top-spec GT Sport trim brings 19-inch wheels, 8-inch infotainment display with satnav, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, heated electric leather seats with memory, heated steering wheel, 2-zone climate control, powered tailgate and 360-degree cameras.
