It gets the SE model’s 15-inch alloy wheels, climate control, automatic emergency braking, cruise control and a rear-view camera, and adds puddle lights, bi-xenon headlights and heated front seats. The eight-inch touchscreen looks much nicer than the basic system and has sat-nav, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring systems, as well as getting an upgraded stereo with a subwoofer and seven speakers.

Premium SE Ioniqs are packed full of kit. They have a leather interior with an electric driver’s seat, all-round parking sensors, auto lights and wipers, a de-fogging windscreen, and ventilated front seats.
