In S trim, the Honda CR-V comes with adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, LED headlights and 17-inch alloy wheels. You also get wood-effect interior trim, height and lumbar adjustment for the driver's seat, climate control and a 5.0-inch infotainment display with Bluetooth, DAB digital radio and an eight-speaker stereo system built-in.

In SE trim, the Honda CR-V comes with dual-zone climate control, a leather steering wheel, a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, LED headlights and 18-inch alloy wheels. You also get a height and lumbar adjustable driver's seat, wood-effect dashboard trim and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with built-in satellite navigation and smartphone mirroring for Apple and Android devices. Cruise control and lane-departure warning also come as standard.

The Honda CR-V in SR guise comes with the same dual-zone climate control, 18-inch alloy wheels and 7.0-inch infotainment system with sat nav and smartphone mirroring as SE versions, but adds tinted windows, leather seats and height and lumbar adjustment for the front-seat passenger as standard. You also get front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, a reversing camera and a nine-speaker stereo system.

Equipment-wise, going for the Sport Line model won’t get you any extra equipment over a Honda CR-V in SE spec. Instead, this trim gives the CR-V a light monochrome makeover inside and out, thanks to touches like the black 18-inch alloys, the piano black interior door handles and the smoked effect on the rear lights.

The top-grade CR-V adds 19in wheels (18in on the hybrid), panoramic glass sunroof, head-up display, heated rear seats and steering wheel, driver’s seat memory and hands-free power tailgate to the SR’s kit list.
